Large quantities of unlicensed medications have actually been seized by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A man was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying impotence medications by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: “It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be dangerous.
“These kinds of products being sold, generally online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no warranty about their security.
“You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More significantly, you do not know the effect drugs like this may have on your health.”
